Career Services For Students

Find online and in-person resources to assist in your personal and professional growth services on individual campuses include:

Career counseling, including career assessment tools to help students explore their skills and abilities and assistance to understand how their interests play a part in their career development.
Advisement on graduate and professional school pursuits
Workshops and career panels on career planning and job search topics
Online listings of internships, part-time jobs and career positions

Career Services For Employers

Simplify your recruitment efforts and save costs by letting the CSU’s Career Services connect you with CSU students and alumni who are well prepared to contribute to your organization's success. Services on individual campuses include:

CSU Career Services are also a regional resource for information related to college student recruiting and hiring practices.

Career Services for Alumni

CSU campuses offer alumni both career guidance and opportunities to volunteer.

CSU alumni can access a variety of career services at their alma mater. Contact your campus to learn more about resources, eligibility and fees. In some cases, alumni are also eligible to utilize services at a sister CSU campus. This “policy of reciprocity” is determined by each individual campus.

Giving Back as Alumni

Would you like to offer your advice, time or resources to the career center at your alma mater? Career Services frequently need alumni to speak on career panels, sponsor career related programs and mentor current students.

Faculty Resources

Extending learning beyond the classroom and involving students in career development activities helps drive student success. Faculty are encouraged to extend learning beyond the classroom by involving students in career development activities sponsored by the career center on their respective campuses.

Examples of support include:

Class presentations on career and job search topics by a career center staff member;
Extra credit opportunities via attendance at workshops, career panels and employment events offered by the career center; and
Supplementing capstone and career preparation courses with software tools provided by the Career Center.
